In an era of always-on Broadband internet access, businesses are vulnerable to attack 24 hours a day and e-criminals have the know-how to mount round-the-clock operations to probe for weaknesses in a firm's ICT defences.
This presentation explains how firewalls provide a degree of protection but gives valuable insights into the ways hackers seek to penetrate these defences.
In particular it focuses on how businesses can combine and configure firewalls to make themselves as unattractive as possible to these on-line trespassers and ensure their defences remain up to date in the face of new viruses and other threats.
